Hooligan Zoo

Two Zookeepers… many Hooligans… It's always feeding time at this zoo!

knit together…

on July 23, 2004

i have to admit, it was manda who made me start thinking about this…

as
most knitters know, the amount of time and care that goes into a
knitted object made for a loved one is phenomenal.  not only
are you thinking about that person the whole time you're making the
item, but you're also trying to make it so that it suits that person
entirely.

that's exactly what God does when he makes each one of us…

Psalm 139:13 says, ” For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.”

wow!
to think of the care i take when i'm making something for someone else,
and to think of how much more care God took when he made me…
carefully He “clothed me with skin and flesh and knit me together with bones and sinews” (Job 10:11).

God
did this for all of us.  he took such care when he made us.
knitting us together into these amazing humans that we are.

thanks, manda…  you really made me think!
